WhatsApp keeps pushing updates to its users for a long time. Now the Rumors Say that WhatsApp is working on another feature to improve status updates that may be released in future beta updates. According to WABetaInfo, the company is developing a new feature to view status updates in the chat list, which will be released later.
We have seen the Same feature on Instagram and Facebook. Facebook and Instagram users get used to this feature but now the report says that the same feature is also coming for WhatsApp. This feature is still in development and has been rolled out to beta testers only
As you can see in this screenshot posted by by WABetainfo, the first contact has published a status update and it can also be seen right within the chats list. Sure more people will start seeing status updates published through their contacts after the release of this feature.
The report also states that information about the upcoming update comes from the future build of the WhatsApp desktop and will be available in future updates of the WhatsApp beta for both Android and iOS. However, the company has not confirmed the release date of the upcoming feature. Rumors say it will be revealed soon.
