PTA Fines 30 Million On Jazz For Poor Quality Services

Pakistan’s largest network provider Jazz has been fined Rs.30 Million Recently by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for its poor quality in more than six major cities across Pakistan.

In February 2020 jazz won first place with their users experiencing an average internet speed of 10 Mbps, While Zong finished second place in the race. Yet Jazz failed to provide basic services in some major cities.

Recently, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority conducted a survey in December 2020, and Jazz was found below than standard set of services quality.

PTA sent legal notices to the Network To fix these issues and improve the quality of services within a month, But Jazz was failed to do that.


Considering the Above penalty, Jazz faces Rs.30 million fines from PTA due to poor network quality.
