Islamabad: Revealing the secret of the team behind enormous success in the ongoing t20 world cup, captain Babar Azam said the word “unity” is the biggest asset of the team. In a media talk recently he said: the support of players they showed to each other has brought us best in all departments.
Babar said the reason behind we are unbeaten so far is the “unity. We show support to each other when we go out to the field. The spirit boost our morale and helped each player to contribute to our cause. In every department, whether it is batting, bowling or fielding, every player have shown enormous support to each other
Babar Azam also prises Shoaib malik and said he played a sensation knock to boost scorecard around 200 which had to do that. Shoib Malik was the man of the match against Scotland that he got due to tremendous 54 runs in 18 balls. Babar Azam said he had only one option to boost the scorecard and Shoaib malik did it.
At Scotland post-match press conference Shoaib malik said: “We know Australia has been playing amazing cricket since their first match and Australia is a very difficult team. But we will carry our momentum in the semi-finals. No matter which team we are playing against, our effort and hard work would be the same and we will do our best in all departments.
He continued: “Pakistan team have proved that they are capable to beat any team and we will play a good game of cricket which we have shown our pool matches.
Pakistan Batting Coach Mathew Haddin also said in an interview that: “I have seen different Pakistani team this time. They are very disciplined and religious. They offer salat 5 times a day and they never forgot the offering the prayer”.
